Public WorksMission StatementThe mission of the Santa Fe County Public Works Division is to maintain and improve the quality of life for residents in Santa Fe County; by maintaining and improving County Roads for the safe and efficient movement of people, goods and services; by constructing sanitary sewer systems; and by providing for the safe and sanitary collection and disposal of solid waste. FunctionThe function of the Santa Fe County Public Works Division is to provide road maintenance services; construct road improvements; in some situations construct sanitary sewer systems and water systems; provide for solid waste collection and disposal; as an internal service provide fleet maintenance services.
