General Information

County Convenience Centers now accepts discarded cell/mobile phones, old rechargeable batteries and old telephone directories.

Buckman Road Recycle and Refuse Transfer Station

Items Accepted: Computers, monitors, printers, copiers, scanners, plotters, peripherals, Telecommunication equipment, servers, phone systems, security equipment, UPS systems, cell phones and VCR’s.

Items Not Accepted: TV’s, household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryer and vacuums.

FREE Recycle Bins For Santa Fe County Residents
Santa Fe County recently received 336 recycle bins from the ALCOA Recycle bin grant offered through the New Mexico Recycling Coalition 

Recycle bins will be available for pickup starting on April 19, 2010, on a first come first serve basis. Santa Fe County is offering two bins per household, one for glass (only) and/or the other for mixed containers which include plastics #1 and #2, junk mail, newspaper, office paper, aluminum cans, steel cans, and corrugated cardboard.

Requirements
• You must be a Santa Fe County Resident
• Utilize one of the Santa Fe County Convenience Centers or the Rancho Viejo Recycle Center.
• Complete and return a recycling questionnaire, that will be sent to you three months after receiving your bins
